Established in June 1966, the Regional District of Mount Waddington (RDMW) serves the various communities & municipalities within the Mount Waddington regional district. The RDMW provides local services, planning, solid waste, parks, economic and tourism development services for the residents & businesses on the traditional territories of the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw First Nations.
The RDMW is located on the traditional territory of the Kwakwakaʼwakw people who have been stewards of this land since time immemorial.
